Job Type: Temporary; Full Time Job Location: Granville County Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Certified Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, the individual in this position provides direct clinical care and educational services to substance abuse adults and their families. The clinician in this position will function as a team member to provide substance abuse treatment services which, will include: SAIOP, individual, group, family, dual diagnosis, gender specific therapy, DWI Assessments and outreach, crisis management, assessments, and educational presentations about the different aspects of addiction and HIV/AIDS, and referrals. The clinician conducts independent counseling. Job Type: Temporary Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to provide foster care services to children in the custody of the department of social services. Work involves providing case management for children, their families and foster parents with the goal of permanency for the children. Permanency may mean return to birth parents or family, adoption, long term foster care, etc. Work involves facilitation of visits for the children in care with parents and significant family members. Position requires an in-depth knowledge of family dynamics and ramifications of decisions made regarding children and families. Requires interaction with human services agencies, educational, medical, law enforcement, court systems, and community organizations and facilities will occur. Job Requirements: NC Child Welfare Pre-Service Training is required and active within the last three years. MSW or BSW preferred. Other:
